It is a frightening number: 1 billion people worldwide do not have the chance to participate in an adequate health system. Disadvantaged population groups are particularly affected, including a high proportion of children and women.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

The lack of access to clean drinking water and toilets aggravates the problem. The situation is especially challenging in rural area.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Healthcare costs money. Money that many countries cannot provide. Staff shortages for treatment are added as a further problem.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

There is a lack of regional provision, especially for disadvantaged population groups. If health systems are available, they are mostly in larger cities; they remain difficult to reach for people in rural areas.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
