Antje Biniek

Hello, my name is Antje Biniek, I am 31 years old and I am a passionate campaigner for justice.

I successfully completed my studies in social work at the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Wolfenbüttel in 2014 and then started my (professional) involvement with the city of Wolfsburg. I have always been interested in and committed to issues such as democracy building, equal opportunities, justice, anti-discrimination and participation in the context of open children's and youth work, but also as an equal opportunities officer.

I am aware that I was (and still am) in a very good and privileged position to shape my life and the freedoms that come with it. Therefore, I find it all the more important to use my opportunities, resources and competences to support others and to make my contribution to a more just world.

I know Judith from our time together at the City of Wolfsburg. I have always perceived Judith as very committed, down-to-earth and honest, and I am all the more pleased that the contact has developed beyond the professional field. When she told me about THE HELPING PEOPLE, I was immediately hooked and wanted to be a part of the vision.

When I'm not trying to save the world together with others, I'm a passionate family man and spend a lot of time with Luna (my wife), Linus (my son) and Herrmann (our French Bulldog). Sometimes I make it to the gym or to the balcony for a good coffee.
